Qu’est-ce que j'ai pu être heureuse en découvrant à cet époque un magazine décortiquant aussi bien le sharpei !! L’article est très bien fait, on y explique l’acquisition d’un sharpei chez des éleveurs sérieux, son arrivée à la maison, ses besoins et surtout les dérives à éviter. Les chiens sont superbes seul petit bémol : pourquoi parler du bear-coat comme type de poil accepté et reconnu ?
Le beau bébé sharpei présenté n’est autre que « Jules du Moulin de Sore »

Photos de Brush très sympas. Ce magazine s’attache beaucoup à l’aspect éducatif du toutou. Dans un sens ce n’est pas plus mal, au moins les adoptants potentiels sauront que le sharpei doit avoir une éducation bien ferme.

Il reste un article de référence pour moi. Cynomag fait comme d’ordinaire dans le très sérieux : fiche complète du standard, point santé et statistiques sur le nombre de sujet sont détaillés sur ce magazine. Chapeau bas pour un article comme on aimerait en voir plus souvent !!

MOLOSSES NEWS (N°48 de mars-avril 07)
Dans les kiosques, le sharpei ne faisait pas parler de lui depuis un bon moment. Merci donc à molosses-news de s’être intéressé à lui. Notre race y est merveilleusement bien décrite, mais quoi de plus normal, sachant que pour cette article, ce fut une éleveuse qui fut interviewé (ndlr : Gudrun Bolling, affixe « manoir de Kerlessy »). Je suis sure que les « non initiés » vont craqués sur le sharpei après la lecture de cet article.
Concernant les photos, il s’agit pour la plupart des cliché de « Oolong des Roses de porcelaines » une belle mémère de 7 ans (qui a dit que le sharpei ne vivait pas plus de 4 ans hein ?!?

La première partie concerne surtout l’historique du shar-pei : tout y est bien plus ou mieux bien décrit mais, cependant, le journaliste semble avoir bien comprit le tempérament de nos plissés (l’article met en évidence son côté têtu, pantouflard et sa zen-attitude).
La deuxième partie concerne son entretien : il y est décrit ses yeux (besoin de nettoyage quotidien ?!? pas sure), son poil urticant, et sa « puanteur cutanée » qui n’est que légende (sauf cas particulier). Bref, le journaliste, détruit les « on dit » pour décrire au mieux notre sharpei.
Enfin dans la troisième partie, le texte s’attache au « maître idéal » … rien à redire, on pourrait croire que la personne qui a écrit ce texte et elle-même propriétaire de sharpei !!!
en revanche, il est dommage que l’on ne s’attache pas plus à parler du brush coat …. no comment

L’historique est « bateau » mais suffisamment explicite pour comprendre les grandes lignes de ses origines.
La suite de l’article est régit par une éleveuse d’Aquitaine qui partage sa vision du sharpei et les conditions de vie avec un sharpei. en revanche, je reste perplexe quand à certaines réflexions du style : « il n’est pas sujet à la dysplasie », « ne pas avoir d’autres race lorsque l’on adopte un sharpei ». Par contre, merci, une fois de plus de souligner les « on dits » sur le shar-pei que l’on ne doit absolument pas croire !!!
Enfin, on notera que le brush est une fois de plus oublié.
Dernière chose : c’est dommage, la photo centrale aurait pu montrer un peu mieux les bébés chocolat !!!

Article assez intelligent, il faut dire que, pour une fois, il s'agit d'un éleveur de race (et membre du comité SPCF) qui a été interrogé. Au moins, pour une fois l'article ne sort pas de dires complétement faux sur notre race. |

en revanche, on regretera une chose ; molosse news avait fait un appel à beaucoup de monde pour leur fournir des photos de race, malheureusement, aucunes n'aura été utilisée...
